Google has
launched a new feature in the Google Toolbar that
allows users to comment on web pages via a side
bar. Is this brand hijacking? Is this playing
fair? The answer to that is no and yet. Marketers
are already cringing but the reality is consumers
own the Internet and have been laughing at
advertisers efforts for quite a long time.
According to Forrester Research, 48% of consumers
now believe that they have the right to decide
whether or not to receive advertising and that
number is growing larger all the time.
