Lawyers already advertising on Google
If your a diabetic you have to be scratching your head. First Avandia, then Pfizer decides to stop marketing Exubera because patients and physicians are not accepting the new product and finally just when you think you have a great new product that might help you not only control your blood sugar but lose weight as well you hear that it may cause pancreatitis.
Will pharma
marketers ever acknowledge that today's patients are
wired into the information world when it comes to
their health choices? Will pharma respond quickly to
new threats to their products or just continue to
ignore the competitive advantage of speed? I guess
we'll find out but as of this morning on Google one
smart attorney was already looking for clients so he
could go after Lilly and start litigation.

There is LOT to be learned here but alas DTC marketers are too busy patting themselves on the back with phony awards and attending DTC conventions where the blind continue to lead the blind. There is a reason why there is no pharma product listed as marketer of the year..it's called "old age marketing".
